Why Heliotrax was created

Heliotrax was founded by Alan Hudson after recognising a gap in how logistics was being delivered - particularly within renewable energy projects.

Having managed over 60 projects across solar, battery storage, and energy infrastructure, it became clear that supply chains were often fragmented. Responsibility was split across multiple providers, leading to delays, missed deadlines, and unnecessary financial impact.

Heliotrax was built to provide a more controlled and accountable approach.

The problem with traditional freight

Many businesses rely on large freight providers, but in reality, they often become just another shipment in a system.

There is little ownership, limited accountability, and a lack of care when things go wrong.

We don’t operate like that.
